An intimate gathering centered around dance for camera and our local creative community, held in the evening at Black Rabbit Mead, November 6, 2026.

We invite Reno and Tahoe-based artists to submit short dance films that explore movement, body, place and imagination through the lens of the camera.

Criteria for Submission:

Preferably not yet publicly screened but open to all entries.

Can be works-in-progress; we are interested in experimentation, intimacy and honest exploration.

Mixed media or animated films will also be considered.

Films utilizing AI in any aspect are not accepted.

This gala is a fundraising opportunity for The Reno Dance Fest to raise money in preparation of our 2027 live stage event. While select films may receive small awards or recognition, submission does not guarantee a screening or monetary prize.
